Wellness Testing: More Than Just a Routine Exam

For a small additional fee ($25), our wellness testing includes high-resolution fundus photography and optical coherence tomography (OCT), 2 noninvasive scans that allow us to see deep into the retina and optic nerve.

Even if you’re not experiencing symptoms, this technology helps us detect the earliest signs of eye disease. If you’ve ever had a family member with vision loss, you’ll understand why this matters. Early detection can be life-changing.

We can catch subtle changes that typically wouldn’t show up in a standard eye exam—and when we do, we’re already one step ahead.

Tech-Focused Dry Eye Screening & Treatment

Dry eye disease is one of the most common (and most underdiagnosed) conditions we see, and we take it seriously.

We screen every patient using the SPEED questionnaire, a surprisingly powerful tool that helps us understand how your eyes feel, even if you didn’t realize something was wrong. This allows us to fast-track care for anyone showing signs of dry eye disease.

From there, we use modern diagnostics like:

Oculus keratograph: Assesses meibomian gland health, tear film quality, and ocular surface damage
TearLab Osmolarity: Helps us evaluate the chemical makeup of your tears
Lid margin & lash evaluation: Checks for conditions like blepharitis and demodex
High-res imaging: Allows us to show you what’s happening visually and builds trust in your treatment plan

When treatment is needed, we offer solutions that include IPL and RF therapy, prescription drops, lid hygiene care, and other personalized options tailored to your symptoms and test results.
